There's lots of speculation that Kovalev is unhappy here in Ottawa.
We know for a fact that St. Louis has inquired about Alexei Kovalev. David Perron, the Blues young star, will be more than happy to play with his favourite player and to learn under his wing.
Murray was said to have declined St. Louis' offer, but they have kept on pushing. In a tight, cap era, the cap hits need to be right on or deals will not fall through.
I'm hearing something along the lines of:
Filip Kuba & Alexei Kovalev for Brad Boyes & Eric Brewer
